A tightened terminal is not automatically a correct termination. Conductor size, ferrule dimensions, strip length, clamp type, and permitted conductor count all matter. Inspect the specified connection system when vibration-related faults follow wiring work.
Termination requirements depend on the exact product and conductor.
What is happening?
Different terminal technologies have different preparation and insertion requirements. A ferrule can be unsuitable for a clamp or conductor even when it appears neat. Mechanical inspection must follow the manufacturer procedure and energy-control requirements.
Check these five things

Worked example
A teaching repair inserts insulation too far into a clamp, leaving poor conductor engagement. The screw feels tight, but the electrical connection remains unreliable. Repeated retightening does not establish that the conductor is correctly positioned.
