A simultaneous slowdown across many devices can indicate excessive network traffic. Compare switch counters and topology evidence before replacing individual endpoints.

What is happening?
A layer-2 loop can repeatedly circulate traffic and consume network and endpoint resources. Other excessive traffic sources are also possible. Packet rate, broadcast levels, MAC movement, and topology changes help narrow the cause.
Check these five things
