A useful handover explains what failed, what changed, and how the result was verified. The word fixed alone leaves the next shift unable to distinguish a permanent repair from a temporary recovery. Keep observations separate from assumptions.

Troubleshooting records connect symptom, event sequence, configuration, intervention, and validation. Raw diagnostics and timestamps are more useful when their source and units are clear. A bounded statement of what was tested is stronger than an unsupported claim that every condition is covered.
Check these five things
