A repeating power pulse can be the supply attempting overload recovery. If several devices reboot together at a regular interval, inspect protection mode and load demand before replacing the PLC.

What is happening?
Power supplies use different overload characteristics, including current limiting, shutdown, and cyclic restart. Capacitive startup loads or a persistent downstream fault can interact with those modes. The exact model and configured behavior govern interpretation.
